Kubernetes is an open-source system for automating and managing containerized applications. Red Hat OpenShift is an enterprise container-based Platform as a Service (PaaS).
The Illumio Core for Kubernetes and OpenShift Guide provides information on how to use Illumio Core with containerized applications running in Kubernetes and/or OpenShift clusters. It describes how to configure and enable support for containers, write rules for containerized applications, and upgrade Illumio components. It also lists troubleshooting steps and currently known limitations.
The documentation for the Containerized VEN includes information for the following Illumio Core components:

- Kubelink version: 3.1.0
- Helm Chart version: 3.1.0
To download the package for Core for Kubernetes 3.0.0, go the Software area of the Illumio Support portal (log in required), and click the Download button in the Kubernetes Operator section. The Red Hat Quay.io page for Illumio software opens where you can download the package.
